Restaurant: Fischer’s on Marylebone Hight Street, W1U 5HN

Austria is a country in central Europe bordering many countries , two examples being Italy and Germany.

A traditional Austrian breakfast consists of bread rolls with ham, cheese or speck (smoked bacon), jams, eggs, cakes, pastries. It is a very continental European breakfast, they have incorporated lots of european breakfasts into one as in Austria they strongly believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

We found a restaurant called Fischer's which is a very smart and tasty Austrian to go to for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Our orders (breakfast):

Mains: Pancakes - American style with maple syrup.

Granola - In natural yogurt and topped with maple syrup and raisins.

            Blueberry and Almond Muffin.

Drinks:  Hot Chocolate Fondant - a small mug of warm chocolate.

             Fischer’s Hot Chocolate.

             Expresso.

We didn't have the most Austrian dishes on the menu so if you're going for Austrian I would recommend the Viennese breakfast. However, we did find out that for breakfast in Austria they eat food from all around Europe and just couldn't resist the delicious pancakes.

This breakfast was amazing, it was so hard to choose! The service was amazing, the restaurant is very smart and has a very nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend going there for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Best dish: Pancakes (obviously, even though they aren't really Austrian)

Could have been better: nothing!

Definitely go to Fischer's! You can be as adventurous as you want as they sell some typical Austrian dishes, but also lots of continental ones.
